As the CEO of Level Health Agency and Family Advisor for the Harvard Football Players Health Study, Kimberly dedicates her work to eliminating health disparities and amplifying the voices of marginalized communities.
Her journey into advocacy began when her husband, former NFL linebacker Elijah Alexander, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma—an incurable blood cancer—at just 35 years old. After losing Elijah in 2010, Kimberly chose not to let her grief stop her; instead, she became a fierce champion for cancer awareness, clinical trial inclusion, caregiver support, and the HUMAN SIDE OF MEDICINE.
Today, she is an influential leader in the nonprofit and healthcare spaces. She is a former board member of Blood Cancer United (formerly the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of North Texas), partners with major health campaigns like Johnson & Johnson’s "That’s My Word" and Bristol Myers Squibbs’ “Standing In The Gap”, and has been featured on NBC's Dateline with Tom Brokaw discussing life as a caregiver.
As a founding board member of Off the Field Player’s Wives Association, a non-profit comprised of active and retired NFL wives, she coordinated projects with Habitat for Humanity, The Salvation Army, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
